We went Hari Raya-ing for 4 days straight!

First day of Syawal was such a bliss.Although I spent hours in front of the mirror,grumbling away, just to make my tudung in acceptable form.( I almost didnt buy that tudung at Geylang because it looked a bit too soft but the makcik insisted that I could wear it without much hassle!Ah yela tu)

Anyway,it was nice to see my family and relatives gather and berhappy-happy.And goodness, my cousins are all grown up now!They are much taller than me and I thought they were just a bunch of kissable toddlers a few years ago?

At the end of second day, we were all craving for a proper dinner so we headed down to Simpang Bedok.Spize was closed unfortunately but we managed to eat some decent food like Nasi Goreng Pattaya.

And I thought I could rest on Sunday.Tgk TV sambil mkn choc chips ke.But guests practically swarmed to our house. I woke up early in the morning all dead beat from last night's and had to clean up the house, exactly the last thing I wished to do.Umi cooked Sabsuka and Mee Bakso for the guests. Lovely!

Monday was so much better. Finally, I had some time away from Hari Raya chaos. Girly date with my fave girls in TP.Pix still with Ela, will upload soon!

After being dateless for weeks, he finally had time off work to spend the evening with me.Heh.

We had our girly talk over chocalate beverages and cakes which probably have enough calories to last for the whole week.Talk about guilty pleasure.

We exchanged updates on our lives, reminisced the Waktanjong years and chat on the possibility of the future .More than often,Shaz would interrupt by making a joke on everyone and everything,which we all appreciate. I predict that the Faisal joke will be something we will laugh about for years.Haha.

Highlight of the dayy-Talked with Alima who's in Syria on the phone!We had to make use full use of a mere 7 minutes.Ape lagi,sume passing2 hp Hazami.Alima take care ok!

Its a huge relief to know that Ive passed all my modules. As expected, my GPA dropped but fortunately, its within the safe range. Thank God. Have to try harder next sem, it will be great if I can score straight B+s,it will definetly do some miracle to my average GPA. I guess weekly mind-mapping will be my next mission, doing sheets of them at the very last minute will not be much of a help.

School stuff aside,I dread the thought of having to clean up the whole house for the festive.Mum has done some minor cleaning up and some parts of my flat are already messy.I am very comfortable with my desk being disorganised but not other parts of my house,it makes my mind boggly.Is there such a word?Boggly?

On a brighter note,Ive been doing mental shopping list on what to buy when I get my hands on 'duit collection'. My sisters and I got a lot of 2 bucks last year,much to our surprise,haha. At the moment, revamping my wardrobe is on the top of the list. My clothes are all.. expired.In my terms,it simply means that Im sick and tired of them because Ive worn them over and over again to school.Plus,its been a looong time since Ive went to a shopping spree.I deserve one!

Ive always wanted to watch theatres and indie films, as un-Hidayah as it may sound.

Somehow, they appeal to me more than commercialised movies. Maybe its the simple yet meaningful plots. Or the controversial themes. (I particularly like when they talk about Singaporeans, social issues or anything sensitive) Or maybe its the fact that the actors are not your usual red-carpet walkers and tabloid mag front cover-ers. (Btw, tabloid mags are sungguh addictive,I browsed one at Times, soon, my hands couldnt stop browsing ALL the tabloid mags I could lay my hands on!)

I know all these from reading about the reviews from magazines or Life!, but upon seeing the ticket price, I will just sigh and flip to the next page.They cost at least four-six times more than my subsidised student movie ticket.Im reluctant to spend anything more than 25 bucks especially since Ive been tutoring 5 days a week and its not easy to earn money, girls.(A bit off topic here, but I should say that Im more cautious about my spending habit since I started to earn my own $ which is good!Nafsu shopping is bad!Bad!)

So anyway, just now, I bought a newly lauched local Malay mag,Sutra.

Aisyah from Ayat2 Cinta, along with Maya Karin and Taufiq Batisah are the cover page models.

In my version,Aisyah is hearbroken over her polygamous marriage and decided to leave Fakhri.Fly off to Singapore and grace the cover of Sutra's magazine....

wearing what seems like a tenth of her usual abaya and burqa.

Ok lah, aku exaggerate,it is just a tube dress, not a bikini.But its sill inappropriate for a Malay magazine,kan?

Anyway, back to indie films and theatres, was flipping through the mag and I was delighted to see an upcoming film party at The Picturehouse.

Its a 3 day event, each day showing a set of different short indie films, all made by Malay producers.

Darn, dissappointed not to find any info/pictures/poster AT ALL at The Picturehouse's website to show you all.

Oh and another bummer,Im positive that I wont be getting an A for last week's Business Finance test. My fault actually. Argh!

A few days ago I was thinking, if only O Level Maths (curses!)was like Business Statistics and Business Finance,

I would have passed that subject the first time I took it!! DAMMIT!

For the record, I got D7 the first and C5 the second. Trime kasih.

E Maths was just bleaghh and I have never enjoyed finding the angles of some stupid shapes, calculating the volume of some cylinderical thingy with water inside it, plotting graphs and finding the gradient which will never be accurate anywayy and just whaaat are similiarity and congruence again?

They all made my head spin.

Too many triangles in a triangle.Too many numbers and alphabets in single line.

Now, Business Finance and Business Statistics are much more interesting and enojoyable. Somehow, they all made sense to me. The correlation equation, doing financial analysis, learning about stocks, bonds and investment stuff.Time value of money is the coolest because I can actually use the formula to do my own financial planning,after Ive started working of course.

Im going to update about Youth Muslim Psychologist which I attended with Ha a few weeks ago.

The targetted age group was inappropriate, it should have been for 7-13 years old because..I was expecting an.. informative, thought-provoking talk about psychology but much to my dismay, we played games most,most of the time.

Like 90% of the time.

I remember playing some of those games back when I was in primary 6,so.

And and and..they didnt even mention anything about EQ,IQ and SQ......................................

My feedback form was as long as an essay,yes,I had that much to complain,I mean, suggest improvements about the program.

However, I did enjoy the fun and light games,plus,I like anything indoors.

I was just pretty disappointed that I went home without learning anything new about EQ,IQ and SQ.

And no certificate too.

Haha, I dont know about you guys but I love to be given a certificate if I attended/completed any course/talk/workshop especially if I pay for it.

I hope that doesnt sound too kiasu.

When my Conversational Mandarin certificate(the paper was not thick at all) was not laminated, I actually felt quite bleaghh.

We werent participants actually but we were facis for the kids. Most of them were primary kids and some of them were as young as seven!They were the most adorable!

Suddenly,I had 10 kids!

The night walk,they were blindfolded and they got pretty scared!

I was a lousy archerer but it was neat sport

I had fun the first two days but on the third day, I was shagged and ready to go home.The kids had much more energy than me although they were a slightly homesick.

It was supposed to be a project discussion and they bloody hell conversed in a language I couldnt understand, leaving me looking like ________. I didnt say anything, not even a casual,half-joking, "channel 5,please!hehe!" I just stared at them,bit my lip,blinked my eyes a few times.

Aw shucks,I just rubbed my eye that still has eyeliner AND mascara on. Yucks.

Mid-sem tests start in 2nd June and having three exam papers to sit for is just plain weird!

I cant afford to be complacent of course, considering my new classmates are super-duper smart people with skyrocket GPA.

So in an effort not to lose out to my fellow classmates,well at least I try not to get an embarrasingly low grade, studied with Ela at McD. Had a nice breakfast there too.

Yes,I am officially a yr 2 Business student!

Met a great bunch of new people...joined TP SIFE,hopefully can get a few SEAL points because I have only collected 5 SEAL points and how pathetic is that?Haha.

And HR project deadline AND mid-semester tests are a good 2,3 weeks awayy.I still feel school honey-moonish,not at all ready for some serious mugging.

Other than that,I have yet to make up my mind on my course electives.Unfortunately,Human Resource and Marketing doesnt come together,we cannot choose any two electives since all of them are fixed.So the next best option is HR and Tourism.Or maybe HR and Finance.Although Im still quite scared of numbers,haha.

Oh and my classmate Aishah and I are going to volunteer at Mendaki Maths and Science Carnival as part of our APEL module.Its been such a loooong time since I last volunteered so Im quite excited about it!

Darn,I have 9 hours of tutorials tomorrow,if only all my tutors are like those super good-looking French lecturers with a great sense of humour!

My timetable is soo unevenly spread out(see chart) that I have 8 hours of tutorial on Thursday!

Believe it or not,I have only four(!) business modules.Apparently,that's the reason why business students have to take 2 CDS per semester instead of one,or else our timetable will be very much similar to bdak2 skola makan.My two cds are French and Public Speaking!From what I gathered,the public speaking CDS only involves speaking in front of your classmates,so thats not so bad.Im still unsure how true is that though.

Anyway,I wonder who my classmates are and I hope they are a nice lot.My previous class had a group of immature,childish bitches that they should be thrown back to kindergarten.They werent bitchy to me(aku pakai tudung pe and everyone was nice to me!hehe!) but they were sure a nuisance.

Tuesday was a total girly blast!

Alima,Aniz,Bahirah,Shaz,Nina and I had soo much fun hanging out together,we were a noisy and gossippy bunch of babes.We talked about everything from Alima's future first night(haha,inside joke) to Aniz's bitchy Malaysian roomates. Bahirah has turned herself into a pinklady,Nina,who's not usually a feminine drsser, wore a brown dressy top.... with sneakers(aku nye black pointy shoes mane nta aku campak!) and Shaz,cm biase,is the clown.Btw,kau nye belt spankin hot ok!

Yes,I know,my blog is dusty.Fungus-covered dusty.The last time I blogged was eons ago!

So here are some stuffs I did while I was on one month virtual hiatus:

Worked with a catering company at Expo's Pameran Perkahwin.Being their sales assistant,I really enjoyed the challenge of negotiating with potential customers.Of course,the most exciting part was to sign the invoices.Tee hee.

Enrolled myelf into a Mandarin class with Siti Rahmad at Al-Ansar mosque.The other students are all makcik2 and pakcik2(with the exception of two cute guys)!Ah,now I can cancel off 'Learn a new language' from this year resolutions list.*grins*

Spent one night at Pasir Ris with family on Wednesday and watched the beautiful sunrise!

I cant wait to go shopping tomorrow!Im in a desperate need to buy a pair of dark jeans and black pants.Or maybe brown.And shoes.Yes,cream coloured shoes please.

I had 6.5 hours of video-shooting for Psyhcology project a few days ago.Yes,six and a half freaking hours!I acted in a few scenes and er..lets just say,acting is just not my thing people!There was this one scene where I had to sleep and suck my thumb which was just so unglamourous.

Envy me,book lovers.

Dad's boss gave me and my sisters $50 Borders gift card voucher each for Christmas.We were ecstatic when Dad gave them to us!

Ive been dying to own The Secret by Rhona Byrne.Its a best-seller which has also prompted other authors to publish books to actually discuss about that book.Er,get it?

Books are not cheap these days which is why Ive stopped(or rather my mum stopped) buying books since primary 6.Back then,I read Baby-sitters Club where each book costs a mere 4 to 5 bucks.

The two books I purchased at Borders costs me around $62.The money Ive saved to buy books usually ends up with me buying clothes and more clothes.When you are in poly,its perfectly acceptable if you shop every month.Plus,Bugis St is a godsend for girls who dont have much money like me but still want to look hot,you know.Who doesnt luv their 10 bucks dresses?!

Oh and the other book I bought was 100 Simple Secrets of Sucessful People.Its a best-selling series(invest on best-sellers and its worth ever cent)and there are other titles too like 100 Simple Secrets of Happy People and 100 Simple Secrets of Great Relationships.Its a really cute and simple book.Im a sucker for motivational books because they are so insipring and you often feel motivated after reading them.I can be such a lazy person sometimes so its nice to have some dose fo motivation to spur me. :)

I just lost 10 damn marks for Macroeconomics test.Bummer.So much for wanting to get a perfect 100.Sigh! Please please please make my other answers all correct! I know,I cant help it because my classmates are really competitive.Its a good thing,I guess.

So enough of my after-school activities.

School is pretty manageable,for now.Im taking six modules this semester and that seems difficult enough for me,seriously.I have to keep reminding myself that with a good time management and consistency,I can definetly pull this off.People just dont wheeze through three years of poly life,daya.They slog!Mid-sem test is in3 weeks time,can you believe that?Oh and Psychology is not all common sense all right.Well maybe it is.Psychologists just named the simplest concepts the most tongue-twisting terms.So what?They will look nice on textbooks?Yeah,probably.For instance,fundamental attribution error simply means a tendancy to blame someone else when you've done wrong.Yeah yeah.And I have hundreds of those terms to remember.That aside,I ve learnt some other interesting things like..

I was feeling Crappy with a big letter C.

I couldnt handle any more testosterones and decided to spent some time yakking on the phone with my babes.So I chatted with Nina,Siti and Ela,at different times of course.They are great as always.

Anywayy,I want to upload my hari raya pictures on my computer but since its a new digicam,(I lost the old one,heh)dad wont let me fiddle with it.He has yet to upload it,much to my frustration.I have some decent pictures but that have to wait I guess.

New semester will start on monday and yippee!I got my 1st choice CDS,Psychology.:)The new timetable is not that bad I think.No school on Thursdays and class start late on most days and end late,7 pm the latest.
That somehow will affect my social life(chey..social life kepe gerl..),last sem's classes ended pretty early for me to go out on dates and stuff after school.Heh.

I totally LOVE Chris Brown's Video Music Awards 2007 performance which I watched in Youtube.It was the most stylishly chereographed and attention grabbing performance on that night,I must say.Cey..mcm pegi sane.The audience were seated around tables .Chris Brown and his dancers actually hip-hop danced on the tables,jumping from one table to another.The tables even flashed brightly-coloured lights!

The bazaar was not crowded and some of the shops were closed anyway,it was like 11 in the morning.They were some nice baju kurongs and Umi kept saying,Tkya upah org jahit beli kt sini lah next year.Kn lawa2.

Anyway,the holidays are making me an ultimate lazybum.Occassional visits to the library kills my boredom(and gets me moving instead of lazing)but thats about it.Household chores are well,I loathe it.I know,its almost a sin for a lady to express her disinterest in house work.Well,this is the 21st century and I can say I dont want to do the chores if I want to.Whaha.

And and..I think Ive become a less friendlier person these days?Nah.Its probably them.They are just a bunch of awfully dull human beings (and I dont mean physically)whom I cant have a decent conversation with.

I slept too long and I ate too much.Now Im dizzy.
Speaking of excessive food consumption(haha,this sentence reminds me of my report on fast food),I ate A LOT at Seoul Garden a few days ago with Mum,auntie and her little kiddo,Naabil.It was soo delicious and mouth-watering that it left me thinking of the food until now.Seriously.
Can we go eat there again?
And I actually dreamt of Mocha Frap(and Ustaz Halim,haha)yesterday.

Whats with me and yummy things anyway?

I know!Im suffering from the PRE-RAMADHAN SYMPTOMS.You know the fasting month is coming and you want to eat at every place you could think of.
If I were to list down all the food that I wish to eat it would be endless.Thosai,chicken floss,nasi ayam penyet,mooncakes,pizza,just to name a few.
Anyway,I think that Blossom's is not sellingmy fav chicken floss anymore,much to my disappoinment.I went there twice already!

Will be going to Waktanj tomorrow to take kurma from Alima and I hope I wont bump into Ustazah Hamiyah.Tee hee.

Sigh.Its one of the days where I feel like cursing everyone inlcuding that conniving and disdainful woman who perfectly ruined my previous relationship not too long ago(God bless her pathetic soul)and my sister who came home late and I smacked her,out of frustration,with my pillow. My anger overwhelms me sometimes.

Oh,went to town with 6 Jahanam on Thursday and we had a blast.I tried sample mooncake from Starbucks and it was better than mocha frap.Im a mooncake fan lah.I guess we are still the same old loud and keco girls.And Ive always been the one whom they lurve teasing and bullying.Heh.I went home late and woke up the early the next morning to meet Wano.We went to Novena Square(I alighted at Newton,haha)and then to Suntec.Wano finally bought a new router and a cute black stripes mouse.She's a happy girl.

Two months holiday has officially starts and at a perfect timing too.Ramadhan is in 2 weeks followed by Syawal.:)

Boo.I hate exams.

I hate CSA especially because 1)Its about computers stuff and 2)I have to memorise a shitload of definations and the technical terms drive me insane.
But the later topics like e-commerce and computer security are much better because it has less technical jargons and definately idiot-proof.

And accounts BLAHH!Me and numbers can never get along.
Hmm,Im beginning to think its not that I have uh..great difficulties to understand accounts..I was okay with tutorials and class works.
Its just that Im a very careless person and with accounts you cant afford to be careless AT ALL because the fact almost every detail is linked to one another,one dumb mistake can cost you like 10 marks or even 20.
And that was how I got D for my last accounts test.

The reason why I striked-out everything is because..most of the time Im an optimistic person.I try not to complain about the less favourable things in my life because..I kinda believe that if you focus too much on that,you will attract more of it.Tee hee.

Anyway,this dude is having fun in Egypt doing tourist-y stuff.
He told me that school starts in September.

Bummer.My CPU was down and currently Im using the old one which has a frigging 5GB(!!!)hardisk.Can you imagine how slow my computer is?And how pathetic the images look on my screen?Honestly,its still manageable la but one of these days where my level of tolerence falls,I might just bang my head against the monitor.
Uh uh.
I feel like doing it now because something just popped out and it was saying that my hardisk space is running low or something like that.
Its 5GB for god's sake.
Well.Lets look at the brighter side.

Had Indian food for lunch two days in a row with a fellow Indian food loverr,Ela!:)

So yesterday,Ela and I went to this kedai mama near Tekka and ate paper thosai.I remeber going to that place a few years back with 'the gengs' with our Waktong uniorm!Hehe.
Anyway,the thosai was soo damn huge!We could have shared because we couldnt finish it.It was really yummyyy and I love Indian food.So much so that my mum told me that I would marry an Indian guy one day.Speaking of Indian guys,the waiter was a such a handsome and good-lookin' lad!He even opened our drink cans!*gushes*Ayway,we were two kecoh and giggly girls.She turned even more giggly when talking about her potential boyfriend.Aww.
After that,we window-shopped at Bugis.We still need to buy formal shoes with heels for our presentation.I think I will buy mine at Bata,its affordable and very comfy.

As for today,we ate Nasi Briyani at Mensa.It wasnt that nice though.The rice was a bit..uh..soggy? and the curry was a bit salty.Sigh.Its difficult to find good food in TP,seriously.I can ony name a few.The best would be the Nasi with all the different lauks at Design's.Even my favourite Prawn Noodle is not my favourite anymore,they serve shrunk and unfresh prawns.Ew.

Oh and I just found out that the TP library is a good place to check out cute guys!Hahah.

After hours and hours of brain-wrecking discussions(the 3 jokers made me laughed my ass out I swear I could have farted),we finally submitted our reports and did two presentations.

For the first time in two weeks,I came home early today,at 11 am!!Hepi la!I was physically and mentally exhausted okay!Slept for hours,making up for lost sleeping time slogging.

Goodness.
Ive been going to sch everyday since last week,even on weekends.
Im quite happy with the outcome of the web design project.(I did the Flash!Thanks to the IT classes I attended at WakTanj!)
It was tiring and frustrating but in a way,we had fun.
These people really made me laugh.(But then again,I laughed at the lamest joke)
I mean put 5 strangers to work together and what did you get?
Lots of bitchings(yes,even the guys),brainstormings and arguments.
Even I argued sometimes,just to get my point across.
So unlike the typical diplomatic conflict-avoiding Daya.
This is all something new to me,of course.
Working life must really be something like this.

Im just too lazy to update my blog.

Plain laziness.

Despite the fact that I have tons to talk about.Now now..where should I start?

Oh,met the dolls last week!Its been decades since we last met.We were certainly a very noisy bunch of minah tudungs!(And a less noisier and much younger group of minah tudung stared at us)Mainly,we just bitched and laughed.

I laughed until I had to plead them to stop because my stomache was seriously hurting.

I went to Muslimah Camp the next day.Didnt brought my camera along coz adek,being her irritating self,wanted to use it.And CT still havent send me all the pixs.

Thank god for TP cheers at least I had something to teach those lil kids.It was fun really excpet for those times that I was bored or tired or sleepy.We all slept in a musolla with a full-blast air-conditioner,gawd,I hate it so much.I was freezing and had to wake up several times to blow my nose.
Did I mentioned that I was only 'un-irsyad'?Yes.Haha.Was a bit awkward but they were all very friendly and approachable.Althugh CT announced to everyone that I was from Waktong.

There was even one girl who asked me,'Kakak netballer ke?'Haha.

My team was in the last place.-_-''

The Irsyad girls were extremely extremely keco gile bab.I know,I was told a lot of times.

When I returned from home,adek told me that they were going to Johor and Malacca for two days with Bibik family.I was like,What?Last minute abes.I said,I really couldnt because of the projects.Our team had no meeting for like 2 days already and I couldnt afford to skip another 2 meetings.

So yeah,I didnt follow them.Bummer.

I slept alone that night and no,I wasnt scared because I switched on most of the lights.

They came back very late at night and bought me a ratan-like brown handbag.

We ate at Design canteen and while we were queeing at the Malay stall,the seller actually chatted with him.Haha.The pakcik was like,Da lame tk mkn sini?Of course he was puzzled but being his suave self,he went along.The pakcik even asked him,Keje kt mane skrg?Which he replied,Tkdela cik..nk smbong blaja.Then the pakcik,kt mane sini ke luar negeri?He answered,kt luar negeri..

Obviously,the pakcik thought he was one of the seniors.Haha.

It was just a brief 30-min lunch date.He went to City Hall after that and I went to meet the members for meeting.

Im meeting the dollies and 'hunks'(just Faritz n Hafiz) in a few hours time.

I miss them so much!

Just came back from school an hour ago.Had my microecons test just now and thank god it was not that diffucult but the MCQs were quite tricky.A few of my friends are sick and it seems like the flu are spreading like some freakish contagious disease.

Now that the bubble teas craze is back,Im addicted to them(Mum:Tak bagos minum bubble tea slalu daya!)especially Strawberry Milktea and Milkshake!
Actually Im craving for one right nowwww.
Too bad there's no bubble tea shop in TP canteens.Speaking of my sch's canteen,Im sooo not going to eat at Local's Delight at ITAS canteen again.Ever.The food mmg tk sedap gile except the fried rice.So a few days ago I bought Thai fried rice and it was burnt.BURNT Thai fried rice.Thanks ah.Haha.I ate less than half of it.

DuringAPEL lesson last week,we did something quite interesting.Mr Sng gave each of us a piece of paper.He then instructed us to hold the paper at the back,near our shoulder.We were supposed to ask five classmates to write one thing that he/she like about us.

Haha.

I love APEL lessons.
Sadly,it is only once a week for an hour.
Mr Sng is reallyyyy friendly and approachable.
He's our Care Person also!:)

Why am I always blogging about school??

Oh yeah,I've watched 28 weeks later.My 1st M18 movieee!!!

The movie was soooo much better than it's first movie,28 days later which was shown on channel 5 yesterday.It's much more violent lah,M18 violence.
I was really scared at first.The sound effect and all those gore made my hair stand.
I should say I was disturbed by the movie because somehow it reminded me of Doomsday.
Seriously.*shivers*

Yikes!I should start doing my work now!Its getting late!

Meetings are soo boring I cannot stand it.
Im definetly not the type who can sit around for a few hours and do brainstorms.
I.just.get.bored.and.restless.

Some people feel like life is flying by at the speed of light, but you'd rather have it go even faster. You spend a lot of time thinking about your long-term plans, and you don't want to wait for all that awesome stuff to happen. It's great that you know what you want down the line, but if you're too busy rushing things, you'll miss out on all the memories you could be creating right now. Since skipping ahead a few years isn't really an option, why not slow down and appreciate everything you've got?

Also explains why I dont really like go to the cinemas.
Cant pause the movie.Cant lie down.Cant go anywhere.
Not to mention the air-con is so freaking cold.
My family members hate watching TV with me coz I tend to change channels a lot.
I just love to do that.

Back to boring meetings.
Had the management project meeting just now.Yeah,on Saturday morning.
I realised that working with the opposite sex is not easy.Nope.Not at all.
Dating with them is interesting.
Flirting with them is fun.
Working with them is a different thing altogether.
But maybe that wasnt the reason?After all,I dont know them that well.
During the meeting,I couldnt stop but think that if only Edeson,Furqan and WeiLun were Faritz,Wafi and Daud instead,I bet eveything would go smoothly.
I miss those boys.
And one thing for sure is I know that I work best ALONE.
Im more productive that way.
Of course I have no choice now.Im stuck with the same team on the web design project too.
But I guess at the end of the day,I might be able to pick some teamwork skills.
Oh God,please make this easier for meeeeeee!!!

I miss secondary school but life has to move on.

9.A few girls wearing jubah.

Aw shucks.Mid-sem test is less than 2 weeks.

Last week I skipped my lecture for the first time.No prize for guessing what lecture that
was.
9 am la siak!I decided to have a few hours of extra sleep instead.

I wore my red specs to school because my contacts lens has 'expired'.

I didnt go to the Samba orientation coz I woke up real late.Oh wells.Waking up late,nowadays,has been a luxury.

Im chatting with Wano right now(very loud background noise:my sisters and dad cheering for Chelsea) and the first thing (okay..maybe the 2nd or 3rd)she said was,Eh best seh flirt.

I was like,Duh!

Tee hee.

Flirting with the opposite a sex,haha.It has been a long time since I last did it.

Those courting days,of course,it was very fun and uh..amazing.

Aw,dont make me start!

Anyway,yesterday was CCN day and our class did a haunted house!I still cant believe we managed to do it.Turning the class into a haunted house,the 'ghosts',those fussy customers who waited impatiently in the line!Oh yeah,we collected $400+!Awesome.

Oh and a weird thing happened today.

It is my sister's shoes.And no,it is not one of those decorated white-shoes.

She left her shoes outside and some dumb-ass sicko wrote(or as my sister put it,'vandalised')a very indecent message.

Ew!*shivers*

And he actually wrote 'I love skool girl'.

What a looong and tiring day.

I slept at 2.45 am yesterday,did a last minute assingment(an argumentative esasay regarding gambling for comm. skills).It was a total plagiarism(copy paste here and there),which the tp ppl are very very particular about.Say you copy a sentence from a website or book or whatever,you HAVE to acknowledge the source,even simple sentences.You are allowed to do that for only a small portion of your essay.Oh well,it wasnt the final draft so I coudnt be bothered.Today I found out that we only have to do SUMMARY not the whole freaking damn 600 words essay.

Essay hand in next wk lah!

Ela and I were like,Wth?She slept at 3 to do the essay.Same2 lah.

The class had a meeting after school about the Campus Care Network Day.It's kinda like a carnival where all the proceedings will go to the school fund for needy students.Our propasal to do a haunted house was approved.

Haunted house!Haha.

We will be wearing black/red this Friday.Ela and I are stationed at the entry/exit,for the tickets and stuffs.

I had my 2nd Samba practice today from 7-9pm.Didnt come last week,too tired.You know Wicked Aura,yeah,Samba is just like that.A whole group of people making loud music using diffrent types of simple musical instruments.During the Samba briefing,we could all choose which one we wished to play.I chose Ago-go.It makes the cute ting-ting sound when hit with a stick.

That's the ago-go!Only it looks kinda small.Hehe.TP's bronze in colour,much more nicer.Ela and Aisya played the small plastic drum.Boring je..hehe.

We practiced new rythms.As we played the agogo we did some steps,left right left right.Cute kn!!I likee!!Penat jgak seyy.Haha.

Went home and was very very pleased to received a letter from Mendaki,70% of my tuition fees will be subsidies.

It only my 4th week of school and my workload is piling up.Im struggling.
I keep assuring myself(to keep me relax and motivated at the same time),its ONLY 5 subjects,daya.You used to study a whole load of subjects with three different languages,including memorising like 70 pages of Arabic scripts,chemistry equations,the law of watever,dates and numbers and a whole lot more.
You can totally totally nail this down.
Right?
I mean I am stupid or what?
Since a few weeks ago,I've been revising everyday.Nope,never done that before.Only nerds do that.Now I feel like if I dont do self-study,Im going to flunk and touchwood,get kicked out of the school.
And term-test in two weeks time! Yikes!

Im hungry.Really really HUNGRY.But I cant eat.
I have a toothache!It's my wisdom tooth again!It has been 3 painful days already!
I did not go to school on Friday and Saturday(for the Tp mentor briefing).Went to the doctor on Friday and he told me that I could only eat porridge.No hot or cold food and drinks.
Yesterday,I was being stubborn and ate rice and fish.Munched some cookies and chocolates after that.A few hours later,my tooth started aching like crazy.Haha.Serves me right.Thank God for the painkillers.
Sigh.Im starving~Mum and Dad went off to Johore and I was like,Abe nk mkn ape ehhh?Mum replied nonchalantly,Roti.
Sigh.

Me and Ha went to TM to find a perfect gift for mum.The malls(TM and CS) were soo crowded.I could see that more than half of them were either celebrating Mother's Day or like us,searching high and low for that suitable present.Stress seh.And with a budget of 40 bucks,our choices were limited.

At last,we settled on this cake at Polar's.I heart the heart!Looked delicous.

Or so I thought.Tk sedap sgt sey.Just a sponge cake inside with cream and blueberries.
